Description:
A detailed collection of first-hand experiences in crime-related litigation from one of the security industry's most respected expert witnesses!
Written by one of America's best-known security expert witnesses, From the Files of a Security Expert Witness explores 35 lawsuits which reflect the tragic consequences of violent crime and gross negligence. These matters made their way into the civil court system in which the author played a role. Cases included in the book range from kidnapping, rape, and murder to tortious (wrongful) acts stemming from issues such as inadequate security measures dealing with public safety and false arrests of innocent people. From the Files of a Security Expert Witness provides a fresh and insightful journey through some very brutal crimes, clarifying the methodology of a true expert in forming his opinions and the civil justice litigation process thereafter, with its inevitable consequences.
